The pre-pageant ethnic competition of "Bb.Nueva Ecija 2012" was held in Pag-asa Gym, Brgy.FE Marcos, San Jose City, Nueva Ecija. 25 candidates joined the competition wearing their colorful ethnic costumes. The candidates are from the municipality and town of San Jose, Pantabangan, Cabanatuan, Muñoz, Talavera, San Leonardo, San Isidro, Zaragosa, Talugtog, Licab, Guimba, Palayan, Aliaga, Peñaranda and Sto.Domingo.
